Welcome and thanks for visiting InValtaro.it
The idea of creating a purely tourist website which presents the Taro Valley is born in 2009 from a group of young people who admires the places, the spirit and the traditions of villages like Albareto, Bedonia, Borgotaro, Compiano and Torno.
Each of us with one’s own interest field, we have always strongly believed that an easy and open source “tool”, even better if available in different languages, could depict the magic atmosphere of this valley. The same magic atmosphere that catches the visitor and forces him/her to stay as it has happened for those tourists from Lombardy and Trentino who have bet on local tourism and now run an agritourism or a restaurant.
In 2011 we finally collected all the ideas about the project and we started conceiving it as the final result that you are visiting now: invaltaro.it
This website is nonprofit and it does not publish banner adverts: the whole site is promotion therefore, each user who has a turism activity, each association or simply each person concerned with our project can contact us and he will personally administer his/her own page (or pages) in order to be always updated about the many occasions, events and celebrations of the Taro Valley.
To make all this possible, we are self-financed and everyday we invest our skills and devices and spend our time for this project which is free from political influence and it is opened to every ideas and initiatives.
If you like to support us or if you want to benefit from our work you can make a donation – some pages already have this option – even though for the moment we are looking for people able to collaborate with their own ideas, their material or simply through word-of-mouth.
Since the website is a continuous work in progress, do not hesitate to contact us whether you have information or materials to edit on InValtaro.it.
Please also report mistakes or inaccurancies in contents which have already present on the site.
